Camp K’s made its way to LA, and The Whitehouse represented with one 1st and *two* 2nd place winners! Sam Perkins found his treasure in The Search for St. Nick, transforming a chilling ghost story into a heartwarming tale of two girls in search of St. Nick and the surrounding holiday joy. James Dierx and Britt Neufer tied for 2nd with Franklin’s Chainsaw Massacre and Ivan the Impossible respectively. Dierx tells the story of Franklin, turning TCM’s Leatherface into a maladroit attempted murderer, pursuing reprisal in response to the rejection of ‘the cool kids,’ and Britt’s Ivan the Impossible, tells the tale of a young Russian dreamer (zombie protagonist of Warm Bodies) pursuing his pipe dream of becoming a pop star.
