The story trails an itinerant woman as she scrapes out survival at the outer edge of civilization rife with wreckage, regret, loss, and transience from the Ozark rails through to Moore, Oklahoma—the city victim to May’s devastating E-F5 Tornado. Vulnerable but adaptable, she draws a sense of strength from living on the fringe.
