Over the years, Charlie has built an impressive reel working for brands including Nike, P&G, Pepsi, BMW, and Gatorade and agencies including Wieden + Kennedy, Goodby Silverstein, and BBDO. Work hard and be nice to people. It’s all about your people.
Is there something you wish you knew when you were starting out?
Yes! One day people won’t get confused when they see you are cutting their sports ad...Even though they were expecting a boy called Charlie. SUCKERS!
Can you tell us about a few projects you are proud of and why?
I can’t choose between my children...Just play my reel, it's awesome.
How do you take your coffee?
If someone brings me a coffee, I’ll take it (I’m starting to sound lazy now).
Who is someone that inspires you and why?
These two legends! It’s an equal first place for them both. They are both completely amazing and taught me everything I know about being a good human.
If I did have to choose a non-family member though.. It would be the one and only Magnum PI. No explanation needed, the man is perfection.
Favorite time of day?
7am to 8am...Even when I'm working, I get this window to be a mum...and drink coffee while I'm doing it...
