Whitehouse Post has enhanced its roster with the addition of global, award-winning editor Marc Langley. A prolific and dynamic editor, Marc resides in Toronto where he works at Rooster Post, and the British-born editor is excited to return to Whitehouse Post for representation in the US and UK markets. “I spent many amazing years with the Whitehouse and it is for sure in my DNA. Having the opportunity to be represented again in the US & UK is a very exciting prospect. To work alongside this group of amazing talented folk, meet new people, and team with some of my oldest friends and colleagues is a great opportunity.”
A colorful personality known as much for his edits as for his dapper sense of style, Langley has made a name for himself working with top tier directors including Kathryn Bigelow, Joachim Back, Guy Ritchie, Dante Ariola, Janusz Kaminski and Mark Zibert. A versatile editor known for automotive work as well as comedy and VFX, Langley has cut campaigns for virtually every big brand including Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Fedex, Ikea, Subaru, Chevrolet, KFC and most recently, a pair of 2024 Olympics campaigns due to air this summer. Langley’s work has been awarded many times over including a Gold at Shots, and wins at AICE, ADCC, The Canadian Marketing Awards, and the Bessie Awards.
Whether cutting Ikea Lamp 2, a follow up to the famous Spike Jonze original, or a moving, documentary style campaign about families separated during covid, Langley approaches each piece as a new challenge to be figured out. “I think a lot of things these days can be challenging in one way or another, but I have always thrived on challenges, and I've had a few :) I love solving puzzles, and that's really what editing is all about, challenges will always push creativity!”
“Marc is simply one of the best in the business,” says Whitehouse Post Partner and Editor Adam Marshall. “He’s an all-around bloody nice bloke too. We’re so happy he’s back.”
