The Whitehouse – Full of Winners & Freaks

December 21, 2011

First we all congratulated Russell Icke when Cravendale’s Cats with Thumbs, was listed in AdWeek‘s 10 Best Commercials of 2011 along with Creative Review‘s Advertising Picks of the Year, Creativity‘s Hear Them Roar: Animal Spots of 2011, TBS’ Very Funny Ads (where it’s a Fan Fav) and Shoot‘s The Gold Standard Rises in 2011: The Best Work of the Year.

Then Russell laid claim to two of AdWeek‘s 25 Most Epic Ads That Aren’t Apple’s 1984” with Smirnoff’s Smarienberg and Sony’s Balls.

After that we got a little freaky – five times over – in AdWeek’s 30 Freakiest Ads of 2011 with Orkin’s Vacation and Echo’s Exam both edited by Matthew Wood, Vivident’s An Unexpected Turn edited by John Smith, Proenza Schouler’s Snowballs edited by Adam Robinson and, finally, Coors’ JCVD edited by Alaster Jordan.

Not ones to quit the game early, we’ve gone on to gain AdWeek’s recognition for Most-Viral Fortune 500 Brands Ad of the Year with Google’s Lady Gaga, edited by Jen Dean.

Congrats to the winners and the freaks…you know who you are.
