What inspires you?
I’m a big fan of 70s and 80s exploitation movies and the associated pop-culture.
Do you have a favorite quote or lyric?
“Always be yourself. Unless you can be a unicorn. Then always be a unicorn.”
What are you currently eating/watching/listening to?
I just had Abendbrot with my daughter. That’s a German version of dinner, and it usually consists of bread, butter, cheese, cold meat and/or sausage and pickles.
I recently watched and enjoyed Mad Max, Nightcrawler, Once Upon a Time in America, Turkey Shoot, Cruising, and Savage Streets.
My current iTunes playlist consists of Dead Kennedys, Ramones, N.W.A., Kavinsky, Elliot Smith, Althea & Donna, and Johnny Cash.
Why editing? What brings you, what keeps you?
As a kid, I always loved to solve jigsaw puzzles. Editing feels a little bit the same. A huge pile of little pieces with small images painted on top of each one, that, when put together the right way, will produce a wonderful, larger image or story.
